Marsha

East Woodstock, CT
Estados Unidos
Dinos Sobre Tu Buena Acción:
I have been a member of the Woodstock Lions Club for the past 5 years and have donated my time on community service projects such as vision screening in local schools.
Why are you participating?:

I want to give a positive view of baby boomers like myself. As a humanist, I want to express my conviction that one can be a good person who contributes to the welfare of our world without being a member of a conventional religion.

Bill

Worcester, MA
United States
Dinos Sobre Tu Buena Acción:
I contribute a substantial sum to non-profit organizations every year
Why are you participating?:

Have seen the booth at a number of events I have attended over the past several years and decided it was time to participate

Chuck

Spencer, MA
United States
Dinos Sobre Tu Buena Acción:
I perform music for non-profit organizations as a donation to help add to their events. I get other musicians to join me in this effort. There are certain events like this that I have played for every year for over 20 years, like the Central Mass Housing Alliance's Walk for the Homeless and the Massachusetts Audubon's Hey Day at Wachusett Meadow.
Why are you participating?:

I like to see and encourage people doing good for other people and living things and hope we can promote this by example.

Pamela

Shrewsbury, MA
United States
Dinos Sobre Tu Buena Acción:
I acknowledge people's presence with a positive greeting
Why are you participating?:

I think this is a great idea, and its beauty lies in its simplicity

Chantelle

Uxbridge, MA
United States
Dinos Sobre Tu Buena Acción:
I never judge people by their transgressions. Everybody makes mistakes, and I like that having an open heart allows others to do the same in my presence. I like to show people through acceptance, that it's ok to love one another, especially the flawed parts. And I try to teach my children the same.
