Dinos Sobre Tu Buena Acción:
I try to be aware of the things that people around me need help with, whether it is opening the door for a mom with 3 kids, helping someone carry their groceries, or calling my grandmother to make her laugh.
Why are you participating?:

I care!

I manage a non-profit Arts organization that supports opportunities for all to experience the power of music.

Dinos Sobre Tu Buena Acción:
I approach the world as an optimist, with a smile on my face. I volunteer with my college and support groups such as HRC and NPR.
Why are you participating?:

As a society we are prone to label each other. This project shows humans with hundreds of different labels; all individuals with value.

Dinos Sobre Tu Buena Acción:
I started a homeschool girl scout troop which allowed little girls from 5 to 10 get to know each other and do fun things together like collecting clothes for people in need and raising money to fight cancer.
Why are you participating?:

Because it is a very thoughtful exercise to think of a good deed and acknowledge that we all do things to help others without thinking about it.

Laura

Dinos Sobre Tu Buena Acción:
The house where I grew up is on the route of the Boston Marathon, just about at the 10-mile mark, and every Patriot's Day, we'd have a big party. That was My Day: I made it my mission to get as many of those runners to laugh or smile (or even just perk up a little) as I could. I would stand out there for hours cheering them on, just to show them we were behind them and try to give them a little boost to keep on going toward the finish line.
Why are you participating?:

Because we're all so much more than the labels that others put on us (and we put on ourselves)!
