Tell Us Your Good Deed

For nine months, I stood outside of grocery stores asking people to support LGBT rights. I launched the "Reject Stereotypes, Accept People" Campaign at a conservative business university. I always compliment people on their style.

Why are you participating?

Because after I dyed my hair purple and got tattoos, people started rolling their eyes every time I spoke. Because I grew up not knowing girls could be gay. Because LGBT youth are 4 times more likely to contemplate suicide or self-harm.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I feed the homeless on my way home from work weekly. As a single mom I know how it feels to go hungry. Nobody should have to experience that.

Why are you participating?

We have the right to be judgmental but what is the need to? Everyone has a story & we should treat each other with love & respect.

Being a caregiver is a good deed in its self !
I'm always doing amazing things everyday

Why are you participating?

To show the world that having tattoos does not define the type of person you are !

Tell Us Your Good Deed

One should not be defined by single 'good' moment in their entire lifetime. Rather, how much they strive to to do such kind acts. To answer your question, my "good deed" is that I continually seek to better myself, and so in turn I may better help those around me.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

Over the years I've spoken at several schools/ youth groups about the facts and safety of tattoos and the industry. I've worked hard to be where I am and I'm proud to be in a position to give back to my community.

Why are you participating?

Why not? :)
I am more than a tattoo artist, but there have been so many misconceptions about me over the years that I can easily stand behind this project. You don't know me until you know me!

We adopt rescued animals. Everyone deserves a good chance in a loving home.

Why are you participating?

We all have an idea of how we look. We all have an idea of who we are and how we are seen by others. For me that idea often makes me insecure, but can make me confident in ways too. It's important to identify who you are, and be confident about it.

I make art for people! In a time of sadness, joy, or just so they know someone is thinking of them, I love to make person specific pieces and send them to people. It always puts a smile on their face!

Why are you participating?

Labels have affected me my entire life. I was never a 'cool kid' and people thought I was strange and unusual. Then I had my son, Colin, when I was in high school and was further stereotyped and judged.
