I volunteered with nine other Nichols College members in New Orleans with the St. Bernard's Project re-building houses that were damaged by Hurricane Katrina.

I have volunteered at my local hospital since I was a Freshman in high school. While I don't volunteer as often as I did in the past, my contribution to the hospital makes me feel like I've made a difference in the community and improving the lives of those in need.
There is so many prejudices and preconceived notions that people make about others subconsciously, without even getting to know the person.

With the assistance of my wife, we started a food pantry for the less fortunate in a local community. It's celebrating its 5 year! Also, with the help of my wife, we re-established a scholarship program for local students.
