I invited a girl to sit. Seemingly simple, but she was sitting all alone during orientation and I remember being that shy wallflower at one point in my life too and all I wanted was someone to talk to me.
I would like to stand up for people who can't or won't stand up for themselves. People can be push-overs and passive and I feel someone needs to show them how to stick up for themselves and others.
I helped build an orphanage for over 200 children in La Gonâve, Haiti. I volunteered through an organization called Extollo and they connected me to an organization called Okipe that made the whole thing possible
It was what my friends were doing.

I was a camp counselor for 8 weeks last summer - many nights I would sing my 8-year-olds to sleep. I tried to show them as much love as I could all summer since many of them come from lives where no positive role model or source of unconditional love is present.
I support this project and its intent and there is no better way to show support than taking part.

I like to be there for people in their hardest times or whenever I can. My friends are my family. Recently one of my friends was dealing with some issues from a guy. Nobody else was there for her buy me because she was taking a very dark path with drugs. I stayed with her to get her off of everything and get to a state of clear mindedness.
I truly do get labeled for something I'm not. I try and push these labels aside but sometimes I can't and then it ends up getting in the way of things.
For my Girl Scout Silver Award project in high school, I made toys and blankets to donate to my local humane society.
