I smile and say hello when someone is walking towards me with a frown or serious look.
There is so much negativity and violence in today's world, I believe this project is worth supporting.

I proudly supported my country by serving in the U S Military (4 tours in Iraq). As a former Eagle Scout and still try to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. I helped to bring a wonderful little boy into this world, and I try to do my best to make sure he feels loved and is brought up with good values.
I feel a lot of time people view those of us with tattoos and piercings with fear and apprehension. To me, it is an art form and manner of self expression. Maybe if people got to know a little about those different from themselves, they would be more accepting of their packaging.

I once saved a little boy's life giving him CPR after he drowned in a pool. Also, I recently hired an Iraqi veteran who had been previously unemployed for over a year.
I am participating because this project is a wonderful way to teach others that we're all different and that's OK. It is one of the things that makes this country such a wonderful place to live. Also, because I love to find ways to help others every day!
