Why are you participating?:

I believe that everyone should embrace the characteristics that make them who they are. Everyone should take pride in themselves and what they have to offer the world, because we all have something incredible to offer.

One day at the grocery store i helped an elderly woman do her shopping helping her get what she needed as we talked about life..she was amazing and very funny. afterwards i helped her to her car and carried her bags for her. Before she left she thanked me and said if she would have had a child she hoped they turned out like me.

Growing up, I've realized that we live in a world that can be very negative and judgmental. As people get to know others, they begin to realize that labels are superficial and that we each have unique qualities and personalities to bring to this lovely world.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I recall in summer of 2018 there was a injured bird in my driveway and was sitting near the wheel of my car. I feared for its life and tried to shoo it away until I noticed the baby bird is hurt. I called Tufts Wildlife Rescue for assistance and was instructed to bring the bird to them in a small box. I was able to approach the baby bird and got it into a box without any trouble. They thanked me and updated me next day that it was one of endangered kind of birds. They treated its broken wing and report the bird to be of good health which they will release to the wild when the bird is better. I felt good about saving the bird and glad to help out with Mother Nature and the universe.
