Communications Major Stereotypes Redefined

I have fought against stereotypes in my family, church, and school. Inspired by art, I was able to touch many people's hearts into understanding that we can be different, we can succeed as an art lover, son of God and a student. I created prayer flags when my uncle died and placed them outside my house for everyone to see, reflecting peace to all. I believe that I can be all three a Christian, a student and an artist. People need to break with stereotypes and accept people how they are. I believe that as a Christian God wants us to succeed and as an artist that I can project what I feel without tags of I should do this or that or that is not correct and that is. As a student I want to show my other interests and do not be afraid of saying I am an artist, or I am a Christian.
