Liana

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I try to make at least one person smile a day.
Why are you participating?:

I find it important to be part of something to show we are all human, and no matter what or who we are, we can be brought together for something good.

Natasja

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I'm currently helping to develop tissue engineering based treatments for osteoarthritis.
Why are you participating?:

Because I'm sick of people thinking that my racial group is filled with bad people.

Joanna

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
A lot of people come to me for advice and help with different things, and I try and guide and assist them as best I can. My family sometimes jokes that I should start charging, but if it's something I can easily do, I feel why not? Shouldn't we all?
Why are you participating?:

I think it's a pretty cool project and dispelling the myths surrounding labels is probably one of the most important things we can do as a society.

Chaboozi

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I enjoy giving selfless compliments to people. For instance, at the grocery store I see a lady with a beautiful dress. I tell her. Sharing love, hope, and kindness helps brighten the world.
Why are you participating?:

It's a great way to showcase a variety of people and their interests and bring communities together.

Andrea

Sterling, MA
United States
Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I chair the Sterling Cultural Council, which disperses funding from the state (MCC). The project we fund make programs of all kinds happen, from summer concerts to school kids seeing live theater, to music and events for seniors. They all smile when they attend the events! I have also volunteered to present art workshops for kids and seniors.
Why are you participating?:

I love being part of projects that help people understand the world and themselves.
