Dog Mom Stereotypes Redefined

I chair the Sterling Cultural Council, which disperses funding from the state (MCC). The project we fund make programs of all kinds happen, from summer concerts to school kids seeing live theater, to music and events for seniors. They all smile when they attend the events! I have also volunteered to present art workshops for kids and seniors.

I adopted a rescue dog who was neglected and starving.

I always try to do something for someone else each day. Whether it is bringing someone's shopping cart back for them, smiling at a stranger, or paying for someone's coffee in line behind me. Paying it forward brings me joy and hopefully I can brighten someone else's day.

I help my mom pay for her rent and groceries because she helped me all my life.
