Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Every year I volunteer as a lifeguard at the Windham Special Olympics swim meet as a lifeguard. Athletes from all across Connecticut come to compete and to enjoy different sport clinics. I love seeing the smiles on the athletes faces as they finish their events and are so proud of themselves for accomplishing their goals.
Why are you participating?:

I was passing by and was asked to participate. I hope that this project shows that what you see and that labels are only a tiny bit of who we are.

My kids and I deliver vegan desserts to neighbors.
Why are you participating?:

The older I get, the less comfortable I am with labels - both for myself and others. Life is about change and evolution and eventual dissolution. So we must learn to unlearn, let go, and offer freedom to others and ourselves.
