Why are you participating?

Stereotypes and labels have been put on me, my family, and my beliefs since I can remember - most of them negative. I'm praising No Evil Project for taking this on and creating opportunities for changing the narrative.

I founded the first national women's media analysis, media literacy education and media justice advocacy organization, and wrote the first book about how reality TV works as a backlash against gender and racial justice.

Why are you participating?

Media narratives demonize feminists, social justice activists, and anti-racists as "fringe", "angry", "selfish", and "unpatriotic", among other stereotypes.

Why are you participating?

I love the idea that were are all in this together. In spite of our differences, we still have two eyes, two ears, and a single mouth, which we can use for good...or evil.

Why are you participating?

I see this project as a place to share our identities, which we often do not get a chance to share with strangers. Using this platform, a mosaic of labels and faces challenges stereotypes and single story narratives.

Holding doors and smiling at strangers is my favorite thing to do throughout the day. I get stuck holding doors for long periods of time. I also work tirelessly to educate, understand, and share empathy, compassion with those around me
