My good deed is always giving back. Always helping the less fortunate! It's amazing what the smallest gesture can do for someone who wasn't having the best day. A smile is contagious!! :)

Why are you participating?

I'm participating because this is an awesome project. It's nice to see people of all ages supporting positivity. It's nice to read the different labels people put.

As a therapist, I work with people to help them find the good in themselves. As a mother, I watch daily the joy my children bring to myself and others. They always make other people smile, which in turn, makes me smile and marvel at the simplicity of how easily children make others pause to smile.

I have done many good deeds, but the one that stands out, is being a Birthday Coordinator for Birthday Wishes. A non-profit organization that helps families in shelters for their child to celebrate their birthday.

I always help others if I can. Right now I have a friend who's child has several mental health issues. Instead of allowing her to purchase a $200 weighted therapy blanket. I choose to make it with my donated time for free.
