I teach English as a second language to immigrants and visitors. I help people communicate by spreading language and culture skills, which I think is broadly good for the world because the better we communicate, the better we can understand each other.
You can't tell most of my labels by looking at me. In some ways, that is lucky. It protects me. But on the other hand, it makes me invisible. I want others to know that there are people out there like them, even if they can't see it.
I work as a clinician for kids with acute mental/ behavioral health needs from suicidal ideation, to homicidal ideation, to psychosis.
I make my friends feel good.
