Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I spend every day with adolescent boys in the foster care system teaching them how to grow, how to be amazing adults, how to make healthy relationships... and so much more
Why are you participating?:

I'm a social worker and work in a group home for adolescent males -- they are constantly labeled and judged, and I see how that affects them all the time.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
There was an old guy on the street that said hi to me in Chinese, so I stopped to say hello because "你好" is not something you usually hear come out of an old white guy's mouth. Turns out he just wanted to share the stories of his travels with someone. Boy were they some stories to share.
Why are you participating?:

I think it's important for Americans to ask themselves why they are labeled by others, how they are labeled, and why they label others what they label them. It's about conversation surrounding the right questions.

My friends come to me to talk about their problems. I offer them comfort as well as helpful advice, and will always be there to help anyone who reaches out to me, whether they need a friend or just a friendly smile
Why are you participating?:

I think it is important to show the world that each person is a unique individual with their own story and their own ways of contributing to the good in the world

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I've volunteered in a Parkour event for breast cancer awareness. I ran around my hometown doing flips and jumps wearing pink. I knew people affected by this, including my mother, I ran knowing this form of cancer made them stronger.
