Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I was a part of a volunteer group that put on live shows for elderly homes, police stations, and fire stations. We would perform musical numbers, dances, scenes, instrumental pieces etc. We would do a theme for each show and would do special ones around the holiday seasons. It was truly rewarding to brighten up someone's day, especially when some would never be visited and rarely saw a new friendly face.
Why are you participating?:

I was approached about this project at a craft fair and really liked what it was all about. I'm happy to be a part of anything that celebrates and embraces all of our unique differences.

Helping my brother study and write his notes in a way to help him better.
Why are you participating?:

I think it's good to try and show how labels effect people. I have been called and labeled many things while in truth I'm just me!

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
On my Robotics team there's this kid that just joined. He doesn't talk much, but he's in my physics class, so whenever I see him I always give him a smile, because he probably doesn't get too many of those.
Why are you participating?:

I've been made of too many times for who I am because they don't understand it.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Along with a crew of dedicated students and friends, I organized an annual 5k race to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, in memory of a special friend and his loving family. We run to prove our strength and health as a community and to offer support for people who are lost in their dark times. The money goes directly to the AFSP for suicide awareness programs in schools. Much love to my fellow organizers, runners, and survivors.

Intersectionality baby: we all exist at the intersection of the many many roads down which we walk.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I was a mentor at my high school. A small seniors got matched up with one or two freshman in danger of dropping out. I got paired up with two cousins who didn't take school seriously. As the year went on, I saw progress and by the end of the year after meeting with me one period a day, they were A students and on Principals List for the first time ever.
