Tell Us Your Good Deed

Working in special education. I work with the students that districts have given up on. We are their "last choice" I like changing the stereotype that behavioral kids are "bad" All behaviors are a form of communication.

Why are you participating?

I am viewed as young and have been called "white washed" for stepping out of my upbringing and pursuing my education. I am now a year away from my doctorate. I am 33, single, no kids. My culture asks for me to be a stay-at-home mother.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I work and volunteer at Touchstone Farm (Lyndeborough, NH) to support people of different abilities, from children to adults, including first responders and veterans, to reconnect with themselves, their emotions and with fellow humans - through work with horses. I love the innocences horses can help people reconnect to in themselves.

Why are you participating?

I was drawn to the purpose and message of this project.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I teach for a nonprofit science museum. I help other people especially those who identify as women stay sober and find self compassion for themselves, and myself along the way.

Why are you participating?

I love the idea that I can find some labels I truly identify with sitting next to my besties.
