Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I send postcards at random to close friends and family and lost connections along the way. I always hear that my postcard "made someone's day." And I get that. Sorting through junk mail and bills gets old; something as simple as a postcard with words short and sweet can make all the difference.
Why are you participating?:

I believe that doing good is more than just what many consider "big, significant events." Doing good is more than an external production, it's a internal struggle that can produce a smile that may change the course of someone's life.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I always try to do things for my friends to make their lives a little better, whether it's bringing them coffee in the morning after a long night or getting them off campus to take a break. It makes me sad to see others around me sad and I always try my best to cheer them up.
Why are you participating?:

As a Resident Assistant, I work with a lot of different people all the time. I see diversity as nothing to do with the color of your skin, but more about how your past experiences come together to make you unique.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I have worked in emergency medicine for 21 years, and I love what I do. I've also held fundraisers, organized care packages to be given to those in need, and in general love to make people laugh...even if it's only at myself, LOL. I am also part of an amazing organization of women who make up the Atomic Roller Girls derby league. We have done and still do fundraising projects for local needs and groups. We work hard, we play hard and we love to be a part of this community! Come check us out and show your support, we would love to see you!
Why are you participating?:

I'm participating because it's something novel....and noteworthy in its originality. I enjoy being a part of something that makes people think! I have so many motivating people around me who support, love and inspire me to do my best every day.

“I am going to learn to make bread tomorrow. So you may imagine me with my sleeves rolled up, mixing flour, milk, [baking soda], etc., with a deal of grace. I advise you if you don't know how to make the staff of life to learn with dispatch.” (Emily Dickinson, American poet 1830-1886) I’ve baked hundreds of loaves of bread for fundraisers, folks who are grieving or celebrating, or to say thank you for someone’s help. Bon appétit!
Why are you participating?:

Because I promised – and I always try to keep my promises (even if it takes a long time).
