I worked with the Children's Advocacy Center of Holland, MI to create a staff vs. student basketball game at my high school. This event was to raise awareness for the center as well as funds to help them continue their mission.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

One day, on the WRTA, the ticket system was down and so the driver had to fidget with it to get certain passes out. A man needed an all day pass and the driver was still trying to get it to print when the man got up to get off the bus. Instead of holding up the bus, I gave the man my all day pass. The man and driver both expressed their thanks and the man left. Before I got off the bus, the driver gave me the all day pass that would've been the strangers to replace the one that I had given him and also gave me 4 single ride passes.
