Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Each day, I make it an effort to accept people for who they are and listen to them attentively. People feel important when I listen to them, and I feel that this is just one way that I bring light to people's day.
Why are you participating?:

I am participating because this project supports my values, not only in my home life, but my work life as well. I work in human resources, and I find joy in helping someone new each day.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Shining my light bright so other people can breathe easier.
Why are you participating?:

Because good things happen to people who do good things :)

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
When I do my job as a Home Care CNA I like to do the extra "little" things for my patients like working on their hair, making special meals for them, listening to their stories about their lives... anything that helps to make them feel "alive" again.
Why are you participating?:

Because it is a great chance to express my feelings about labels. Being a Brazilian woman coming to the United States I have been accused of looking for marriage solely for the purpose of obtaining my green card.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I'm one of those people who's an all-around do-gooder. For example, even though people say you shouldn't give money to panhandlers on the street, I'll try to give a little money if I have some handy, because you just never really know what their situation is. I volunteer for various causes, and am concerned about information security and the right to free expression on the internet.
Why are you participating?:

People are always judged by others and judging me in real life. Women are particularly subjected to artificially manufactured standards of beauty, and often judge each other, too! Do we REALLY need to extend all of this judgment and cruelty to the internet? I don't think so!
