Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I spend a lot of my time giving advice and helping people out with personal problems.
Why are you participating?:

This project is totally amazing. What's a better way to break stereotypes to show how truly unique and beautiful everyone is.

I participate in TOPSoccer which is a nonprofit organization that teaches kids to play soccer that have mental, physical, or emotional disabilities.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I volunteered at an LGBT youth group for a majority of my teens years, five years. I think about all the times I couldn't find queer resources as an adolescent, and it makes me glad I could help so many kids.

Coleen

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I started a gay straight alliance and a gender studies club at the high school where I teach.
Why are you participating?:

This is a great way to break stereotypes

I love helping the community, and people in need. I love animals, and volunteer at the Sweet Pea animal shelter in Paxton, Massachusetts
Why are you participating?:

I'm participating because the more people that volunteer for this project, the more likely the word of this project will go around.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I saved 5 kitties from the streets, and now they have furever homes with me!
Why are you participating?:

I am so often said to be all the stereotypes you can imagine bundled into 5 feet.

Brandi

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I do my best to help others in need, no matter the time or place. I have dedicated my time to become a small town firefighter/EMT to help out my community as a whole.
Why are you participating?:

I'm participating to help the effort in showing that it isn't the negative labels and stereotypes that define people, but positive actions and character instead.

Katie

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I love working with the kids I teach! Helping them grow as people throughout the year is so rewarding. When you know your making an impact, all the hard work is worth it.
Why are you participating?:

I am participating because pansexual people often have bad stereotypes that follow them. People assume I sleep around, that I just looking for attention, that I'm confused, or even that I'm dangerous. I am who I am. I'm not evil.
