Tell Us Your Good Deed

While studying abroad I was fortunate enough to teach children a shanty-town, the children who needed it the most. It was amazing to teach these children with the minimal resources that we had, and seeing how appreciative they were. They are the children who need to be given the building blocks to make the most out of their future, and I was able to help teach these children. It was the greatest deed that I have been able to do to this date.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I enjoy doing good things that fly under the radar- leaving small surprises, making unexpected gifts, baking for friends, and connecting people with one another. A project I'm currently involved with is Earn-A-Bike in Worcester, where I focus on teaching bicycle mechanics to women. Learning the skills myself and passing them on to others is very gratifying.

At Rototom, Sunsplash in Benicasim, Spain this summer I assisted this beautiful, strong woman who was fiercely trying to make it over the hill in her wheelchair, with her children by her side, to the campsite. I offered to push her to the top! It was one of the most fulfilling acts of kindness for me & truly filled my spirit.
