I stood up for Madelena when girls were talking crap about her behind her back

Seemed interesting, & who doesn't love an experimental art project

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I often pick up other people's trash on my daily walks in the woods. (I also remind others not to idle their cars while waiting for their kids in front of schools... a risky social interaction sometimes!)

Why are you participating?

I love the idea!

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I try my best to be approachable and kind to help spread positivity wherever I go.

I think that judging someone purely on a labeled stereotype is something we have to stop doing as a whole.

During the pandemic, I joined as a volunteer for Meals On Wheels delivering meals for the elderly. It's really expanded my joy of connecting and being able to help people. The small interactions and smiles (perhaps a sarcastic remark or two haha) make my day, and I truly hope I make even a small bit of their day bright as well. Everyone deserves to eat. Treating people with kindness is the most important thing we can do, especially while in a pandemic where so many are struggling.

My 14yo son and I left rolls of toilet paper on our neighbors’ front steps. When I do have to go out, I thank everyone I see working for their service to our community. I’m donating the money that I’m saving on gas (since I am not driving to the office) to people who are out of work due to the pandemic. Every little bit adds up.
