Tell Us Your Good Deed:
In retirement I am an amazing volunteer for children's gardening. I teach about organic gardening, healthy eating and returning resources to the earth not landfill. My commitments include finding free, clean soil and compost, plants and seeds, plant supports and natural insect/disease solutions. Next week the children, staff and I will feast on our early corn as well as a salad from our garden. My favorite garden this year is an American Indian Montessori site.
Why are you participating?:

Firstly, I am participating out of my respect for Troy Thompson and his creation of this amazing project.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I helped my granddaughters make sweet treats for their lemonade stand with the profits going to their local children's hospital.
Why are you participating?:

I love the idea of this project and admire the passion of the creator of this project.

Melanie

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I strive to live by the golden rule and to always be sympathetic if not empathetic. I love kids, elephants and trees and believe all three are what makes the world so wonderful!

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I gave a man who looked down and out, my breakfast sandwich and some cash. I paid for someone's groceries who didn't have enough money to buy all her groceries.
Why are you participating?:

I want to be part of a positive community of people who look at people first and remember they are someone's son, daughter, mother, etc. Not to judge, but to think first before being negative.

Why are you participating?:

Why not? I want to go to my resting place with no regrets, nothing left undone or not done.
