Tell Us Your Good Deed

Rescued a cat that belonged to an elderly woman who was going into a nursing home. Added a wheelchair ramp to our home so said elderly woman could come to our home and visit her cat.

Why are you participating?

Because my friend AJ is involved and I'd do anything to help him save the world!

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I donate books to the hospital floors that my daughter has been on for other families to have to fill the many hours they spend with their sick children, and for older kids who are hospitalized.

Why are you participating?

My child has been the victim of bullying because of the disabilities that she has. As a former teacher and a mother, I want her to live in a world that is more tolerant and less judge-mental.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I volunteer to the Epilepsy Foundation on a yearly basis.

Why are you participating?

I wear a lot of different shirts, like the one I'm wearing in my picture, because people like to judge and they like to guess without meeting me. I wear it, so they know I am unashamed and although I am not my Label, I am strong in who I am.
