Tell Us Your Good Deed

I have devoted my entire professional career to working in youth-serving nonprofit agencies that provide young people with opportunities to achieve their fullest potential. In my current role as CEO of Girls Incorporated of Worcester, I enjoy inspiring girls of all ages to become "STRONG, SMART & BOLD."

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I guide and teach youth to learn to love themselves so much that they would never want to harm themselves or anyone else in the universe.

Why are you participating?

To be part of something that is fun and is teaching about positive social change.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I try to be a giving person... every day. Whether it's a gift, a donation, a smile or simply a kind word.

Why are you participating?

I think it's a really cool project. People do good deeds every day... some small and some extraordinary. We hear about the extraordinary ones but never the small acts of kindness performed by everyday people.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I am a member of the Outreach Committee at my church where I volunteer for various organizations. In addition, I have organized, and pay for, different clubs (craft club, movie/book club, and game club) after school for those who aren't necessarily involved in sports or music.

Why are you participating?

As a teacher, I see how labels effect the students I work with. Frankly, I'm just sick of it!!!
