Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I think it is important to remember that everyone deserves a reason to smile each day. This is my main motivation as a student-nurse and it is my wish to be an advocate for patients and make them smile (especially in their times of need), because even the slightest act of kindness or compassion can make all the difference.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Community service has always been an important part of my life. I have been involved in various community service efforts through my elementary school, high school, and church. I am currently a member of the Quinnipiac club Community Service Ambassadors in which we strive to serve both our local and national community through fundraisers and events to raise awareness of community service opportunities.
Why are you participating?:

I am participating in this inspiring project to encourage everyone to see the good in the world, not only in the positive times, but more importantly in times of chaos, tragedy, and struggle. I choose to believe in the good in people and in the world, and I hope everyone else will too!

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
This past March I went on a mission trip to Nicaragua and helped to build a classroom for a school, a university, and also helped to refurbish a zoo. It was the most amazing experience of my life and I plan to return there very soon!
Why are you participating?:

Because it is a good cause!

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I teach children how to swim in the summer. I'm lifeguard, CPR, and AED certified. Some children are terrified of the water and it's up to me to prove to them that there is nothing to fear. It feels so good to be able to help someone overcome their fear and to learn a powerful skill that is often over looked. By the end of the summer most children are able to jump in the deep end and enjoy their time in the water when just three months earlier they were so afraid of it. I believe that everyone should learn how to swim because that would save a lot of lives each year.
Why are you participating?:

Anyone can do good things, even if it's smiling to someone on the street or holding the door open for someone walking behind you. These small things have a profound impact on the lives of others and people often overlook them.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I am a lifeguard and a swim team coach and help kids to be confident in their swimming abilities.
Why are you participating?:

To support my old RA Erin Williams and to show the amount of diversity I have and compare it to the rest of the people participating.
